                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
                   FINANCE OFFICER TO EXECUTE AND ATTEST,
                   RESPECTIVELY, AN ENGINEERING AGREEMENT WITH
                   COOK AND SPENCER CONSULTANTS, INC. FOR THE
                   DESIGN OF THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA PORTION OF
                   THE WIDENING OF MORRISON SPRINGS ROAD FOR AN
                   AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY-THREE THOUSAND
                   AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($53,000.00), WITHOUT

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor and City Finance Officer 
be
       and are hereby authorized to execute and attest, respectively, an 

       engineering Agreement with Cook and Spencer Consultants, Inc. for 

       the design of the City of Chattanooga portion of the widening of
       Morrison Springs Road for an amount not to exceed $53,000.00,
       without prior approval.
